SFF Services has contributed to and continues to work on a number of complex, long-term projects in the North Sea with a variety of oil and gas operators and installation contractors. For over 30 years the company has also provided vessels and personnel to support survey, telecommunications and renewables operations to a wide range of clients. Main areas of operation include the Central and Northern North Sea and West of Shetland; however regular work is also undertaken in Norwegian waters.
140 different vessels were engaged on offshore work with SFF Services during 2015, across 51 separate client projects and with over 260 vessel inspections undertaken. In total, over 500 different fishing vessels have undertaken work (>80,000 Guard Vessel days at sea) through SFF Services since 2001.
Including its provision of Offshore Personnel, SFF Services supported 40 different clients in 2015 with the majority of work conducted in the Scottish sector of the UKCS. The company has also provided personnel on a number of non-UK projects, including in the Norwegian, Dutch, and Danish sectors of the North Sea, as well as seismic work in offshore Greenland.
The company also has a proven track record at supplying urgent vessel and personnel services while still adhering to stringent QHSE procedures. By providing 24 hour emergency cover the team are able to respond quickly to short-notice mobilisations/changes to client requirements and also keep the client immediately informed of developments.
