SFFSL Marine Assurance Officer Peter West now holds the internal record for most vessel inspections conducted – over 850 since joining the company in 2013. During this busy time, Peter also has completed a Diploma in Marine Surveying with a merit award and specialism in International Safety Management (ISM) Code Surveys.
Dedicated Peter does not let challenging north-east weather conditions dampen his enthusiasm and even finds the time to capture some moments of history – the attached photo showing a SFFSL Guard Vessel passing by the Peterhead harbour bridge just prior to the bridge’s removal.
