Marine Safety Forum

The Scottish Fishermen’s Federation is a long term active and enthusiastic member of the Marine Safety Forum (MSF) and contributed to the introduction of the MSF Guard Vessel Good Practice Guide, which includes the Guard Vessel Inspection and Specification document.  Following these guidelines, guard vessels undergo regular inspections conducted by the SFF Services Marine Assurance team, maintaining up to date Inspection and Specification records.  Representatives from the SFF also attend biannual MSF meetings and participate in the constant review of offshore safety issues.
