FishSAFE and KIS-ORCA

SFF have been involved extensively in the introduction of FishSAFE units onboard the vast majority of Scottish fishing fleet. The system provides information on oil & gas related surface and subsea structures, promoting safer fishing activities for the fleet. All SFF Services provided vessels have FishSAFE units installed with the latest information updates.

The Kingfisher Information Service – Offshore Renewable and Cable Awareness Project similarly provides information for fishermen on subsea cables and renewables structures around the UK.

SFF Services distribute regular FishSAFE Information System and KIS-ORCA updates to all Scottish fishing vessels, along with updated information from Kingfisher on suspended wellheads.
